Margot – Developed by Ethos Development (Portland, OR - Southeast Division St.)
Ethos Development approached us with a bold creative direction: a Wes Anderson–inspired interior concept that pays homage to The Royal Tenenbaums. Through whimsical wallpapers, vintage details, and intentionally repeated artwork and accessory patterns, we crafted common spaces with a cinematic identity unique to the building. Positioned in the heart of the Central Eastside, Slate blends industrial character with modern livability. A strategic refresh of the leasing lobby and both indoor and outdoor amenity spaces for this large-scale mixed-use community. Our design introduced warm, inviting materials and approachable Pacific Northwest textures tailored to the building’s youthful, urban resident base. The improvements enhance first impressions, strengthen resident engagement, and reinforce the property’s competitive appeal.

For this award-winning boutique residential development, we curated all unit finishes and fixtures.
