Margot
Margot is a mid-rise apartment community in SE Portland, and we approached its shared interiors like a film set: intentional, character-rich, and designed to make everyday routines feel a little more special. Inspired by Wes Anderson’s cinematic sensibility, we layered vintage charm with crisp composition and confident color stories to create spaces that feel playful, curated, and unmistakably memorable.
From the first impression to the smaller moments in between, the interiors balance whimsy with function. Pattern, texture, and tailored details give the building a distinct point of view, while durable finishes and thoughtful layouts keep the experience grounded in real life for residents and guests.
What we did: We led the concept and interior design for Margot’s shared spaces in partnership with Ethos Development, managing custom details, procurement, and full project management through installation to bring the vision to life.
